FEC Talk Podcast

From quarters and tokens to game cards and cashless play, payment systems have changed the way we operate our arcades.

In Episode 94 of FECTALK, we begin exploring the history of FEC card systems, the major companies behind them and how this technology helped reshape our industry.

With over 35 years of industry experience operating FECs and an amusement route, I bring a practical operator’s perspective to the conversation. Collecting money is only part of the story. Pricing flexibility, game performance reports and the guest experience all deserve our attention.

Whether you remember collecting buckets of quarters or have always operated with card readers, this episode looks at how we got here and why it matters to your business.

This is Part 1 of our discussion on FEC card payment systems.
